You know us too well and as there is nothing that stops us, I went with my two girls to Turkey at the end of August and beginning of September. It has been a different trip, with very few people in the streets, but as usual sharing fantastic moments with friends that we know for over 20 years. We bought lots of vintage and antique kilims and rugs, cushions, sacs and lots more. We also met our Afghan refugee friends, and they invited us for lunch to a delicious “Pilav Kabuli”. They are an ethnic Turkman family from Northern Afghanistan and we bought lots of neclaces, bracelets, rings, boxes and stones. I doubted until the very last moment wether to go to Turkey or not given the current situation, but in every aspect, it has been one of the best trips of the last few years.
