Vintage rug from the Beluch tribe of Afghanistan. This vintage rug was handwoven by a nomadic or village woman, using her own hand-spun and carded wool. It stands out for its soft and long undyed wool without, with octagonal gül motifs with small three-petal flowers inside, in bright red tones. The grey areas have beatiful colour changes called abrash. The border is formed by eight-pointed stars. The wool in this rug is incredibly soft and you won’t be disappointed if you like to go barefoot at home. A rustic and tribal rug, but at the same time sober and elegant, with great charm.
