This semi-antique rug from the Baluch tribe of Afghanistan is woven mainly from undyed natural wool (beige, gray and ivory). The three central medallions incorporate flowering plants and five little flowers have been distributed both at the top and at the bottom. The border contrasts with the rest of the rug due to its more geometric composition. The hair is long, soft and lustrous. At both ends the rug has been finished with kilim finishes.
