A semi-antique kilim with a combination of different hues of undyed wool. The weawer has created the pattern by combining the wool sorting by colour. The selveage is plaited in maroon and navy blue and some colourful pompons have been added throught the surface of the kilim.

This kilim is a “palas”, a type of kilim woven to be used as a basis for domestic activities within the nomadic community (drying vegetables, making cheese, etc.). This vintage kilim was hand-woven by a nomadic or village woman, using her own wool spun and carded by hand.
