A semi-antique kilim with a combination of different hues of undyed wool. The weaver has created the pattern by combining the wool sorting by colour. The fun border has been made with colourful knotted flowers in the carpet technique.

This kilim is a “palas”, a type of kilim woven to be used as a basis for domestic activities within the nomadic community (drying vegetables, making cheese, etc.). This vintage kilim was hand-woven by a nomadic or village woman, using her own wool spun and carded by hand.
