A vintage Afghan Baluch prayer rug with an unusual combination of purple and orange colours. The design is made of huge leaves. The borders are geometric except for the main border with undyed wool which has realistically portrayed leaves and flowers. The wool is soft and shinny.

There are also Baloch diaspora communities in neighbouring regions, including in India, Turkmenistan and the Arabian Peninsula.
