Malbands are long narrow bands used to fasten loads onto camels, mules and horses for migration. Malbands are delicatelly woven, normally reversible, woven in a warp-faced double weave, with geometric designs and animals.
This circa 1950s malband is wider than most malbands. In perfect state of conservation.
