Palas are a type of kilim woven to be used as a surface to do domestic activities within the nomadic community (dry vegetables, make cheese and so on). This original vintage kilim was hand-woven in Iran in the second half of the 20th century by a nomad or village woman by using her own hand-spun wool. Normally were woven with undyed wool, and a few colour touches were added.
An elegant palas that combines ivony and pale brown. Ideal for a space that needs little colour or design.
