Manastir pelt like prayer rug probably from Macedonia, not from Turkey, 19th or early 20th century. All good colours, woven with the typical Macedonian wool which gives a textured look. Good condition, some repiling in white border. a nearly identical example can be seen in Sonny Berntsson´s article, Hali 112, page 101 photograph 6.
