Normally the incorporate a prayer niche with hooks and a tree of life in the lower part, schematically portrayed, and at its feet two figures that represent two women very simply drawn. Full of symbols of fertility, like fruits loaded with seeds, women of wide hips and flowers, the weaver wished for fertility, abundance of harvests and prosperity.  Very well woven with special atention given to small detalis. This original vintage kilim was hand-woven in Anatolia in the second half of the 20th century by a nomad or village woman by using her own hand-spun wool.
