The Beluch nomadic tribes live in Iran, Pakistan and Afganistán. In this case, the kilim is from nomadic people from Iran. This original vintage kilim was hand-woven in the second half of the 20th century by a nomad or village woman by using her own hand-spun wool. The spinning has been very finely done, and therefore the result is a kilim of very high quality. The colour and design are typical of the sofrehs (kilims to make bread on) from the Beluch nomads. A very beautiful minimalist design.
