Malbands are long narrow bands used to fasten loads onto camels, mules and horses for migration. Malbands are delicatelly woven, normally reversible, woven in a warp-faced double weave, with geometric designs and animals.
This antique malband has been woven using natural dyed wool. It has the original wooden “buckle” or pulley. In mint condition. All the dyes are natural.
