A Kashan deep blue turquoise glazed bowl from the 13th century. This bowl from Kashan, Iran, features a deep blue colour. This bowl is attributed to Kashan, Iran. The decoration, painted in black under a transparent turquoise glaze, has been left empty on the cavetto, while dotted elements framed by vertical lines form a band around the inside of the body.
The back of the bowl is half glazed. Some restorations.
