This kilim from the Beluch tribe of Afghanistan is woven from finely spun wool with natural dyes. The color palette is restricted and sober, as the kilims of this tribe are usually woven, highlighting beautiful touches of turquoise blue. The design is very small and is woven with attention to detail with the best quality wool. It is made in two halves and joined at the center, thus obtaining a fairly square kilim.
