Carpet woven by the Qashqai tribe in south western Iran. This rug, with a central medallion and four at each corner of the rug, is surrounded by a multitude of floral and plant motifs. In the central zone these floral motifs are organized in a regular and symmetrical way, following the shape of the central medallion, while in the navy blue zone, the symmetry has been broken by placing the flowers randomly. Carpet with high knot density.
